พระธาตุภูริทัตแห่งนี้ ถูกสร้างขึ้นโดยคณะอุบาสิกาผู้มีบทบาทสำคัญในการสร้าง บูรณะ และปฏิสังขรณ์พระเจดีย์องค์สำคัญหลายองค์ อาทิ พระธาตุพนม พระธาตุเชิงชุม พระธาตุวัดป่านาคนิมิตต์ รวมถึงเป็นผู้ปฏิบัติธรรมผู้มีจิตเลื่อมใสในการถวายทานแด่พระพุทธศาสนาอย่างยาวนานตลอด 30 ปีที่ผ่านมา
พระธาตภูริทัตก่อสร้างสำเร็จด้วยจิตศรัทธาและปัจจัยของเจ้าภาพคณะเดียว สำเร็จอย่างรวดเร็วภายในเวลาเพียง 3 เดือน สมเด็จธงชัย หรือ สมเด็จพระมหารัชมงคลมุนี ได้เรียกพระธาตุ อีกชื่อ ว่า “พระธาตุทันใจ” เพราะทำสำเร็จรวดเร็วทันใจ สำเร็จสมดังใจ และมีผู้ได้พบเห็นหลายล้านคนทุกเดือน
สมดังเจตนาเพื่อแสดงความเคารพและความศรัทธาต่อพระมหากรุณาธิคุณของพระพุทธเจ้าทุกพระองค์ พระปัจเจกพุทธเจ้า พระอรหันต์ และพระโพธิสัตว์ทุกพระองค์ เพื่อให้พุทธศาสนิกชนและคนทั่วโลกได้ร่วมปีติยินดีและรำลึกถึงคุณของพระรัตนตรัยสืบไป

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
